Fake store demands Trump-themed dildos not be used by men

Plastic dongs with Donald Trump's head.

A Facebook post from a store claiming to be known as Mike Oxmall's Guns & Ammo made quite a stir over on Twitter, featuring Trump-headed dildos with the caption "for the special lady in your life." Added to that was the demand that they were "NOT FOR MEN."

It turns out that the page is actually satire, making fun of former President Donald Trump and his supporters. But because the last five years have killed satire dead, people completely missed the joke.

Some online did have an inkling that all might not be as it seemed, but many just thought it was funny a right-wing store would put gendered demands on a dildo.

A Donald Trump parody account also jumped on the post, recognizing a goldmine of material when they saw one.

The dildos went so viral "NOT FOR MEN" trended on Twitter, with everyone wishing they'd never clicked on the topic in the first place.

Though the store isn't real, the product is. Created as protest art by San Francisco-based feminist artist Hutchtastic, the Trump dildos were a response to his attitude towards women, including the famous pussy-grabbing comments. Speaking to Playboy about her sculptures the first time they hit the public eye, Hutchtastic said: "Donald Trump is trying to fuck me and everyone I care about. I just want to give people an opportunity to fuck him back."

The Daily Dot reached out to Mike Oxmall's Guns & Ammo for comment and it copped to the whole thing being a joke.

"The entire account was created to troll the far-right and sadly too many fell for it," they said. "Way too many on both sides. It’s supposed to highlight the racism and homophobia that lies within the party. It seemed so real to people, and the more outrageous the post got to more real it seemed. Sadly this is how far right some Trump supporters have become."
