TikToker Justine Paradise recently released a series of videos where she accused YouTube star Jake Paul of sexual assault.
In a 20-minute video uploaded to YouTube, Paradise explained what allegedly happened. The influencer said she first met Paul through a friend, who one day invited her to the infamous Team 10 house—a Casablancas mansion where Paul and other social media stars lived. Paradise had to sign a non-disclosure agreement immediately upon arriving, she claimed.
Paul allegedly asked for her number the first time she went over, an encounter Paradise described as “awkward.” The day of the alleged assault, though, which was days after her first visit, Paradise said Paul grabbed her hand and led her to his room.
“We were dancing in his room, then we were, like, kissing and stuff, and then he like took it to his bed,” she explained. “Normally, everybody respects me when I don’t want to do sexual things, so I thought it was fine I went in his room. And I thought it would be fine to kiss him, because I thought he would stop if I didn’t want to do anything else.”
At one point, she claimed, Paul got fed up and said: “If nothing’s going to happen, what’s the point?” before assaulting her. Paradise said she made clear she wasn’t interested in sex.
She said that after the alleged incident, which happened over a year ago, Paul cut off all communication with her.
Paradise first alluded to the incident on March 31 on TikTok, where she has over 520,000 followers. "Am I allowed talk about it if I signed an NDA?????" she questioned in the caption of the video. That video, in particular, racked up over 1.1 million views.
Her YouTube video naming Paul and detailing the incident has garnered over 100,000 since being posted on Friday.
Paul, who is reportedly preparing for April 17 his fight against MMA fighter Ben Askren, has not yet responded publicly to the allegations.
